On Tuesday, August 21, 2007 Sephardic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center hosted Senior Umbrella Network of Brooklyn (SUN-B) for their monthly meeting. Senator Martin J. Golden addressed the audience of over 60 people. Senator Golden represents Brooklyn’s 22nd Senate District which includes Bensonhurst where Sephardic is located.

Senator Golden has been a long time supporter of senior programs and benefits and has authored many laws that benefit senior citizens. Senator Golden has spoken at SUN-B meetings on more than one occasion as both he and SUN-B share a profound love and respect for seniors and deeply care that seniors are well treated legislatively. SUN-B is a network organization comprised of professionals who provide services to seniors.
